How much room a snooker table needs
A practical minimum allows one full cue length from every edge of the playing surface. Furniture, walls and cueing posture can require extra clearance.
Full-size snooker uses a 12 by 6 foot nominal table with a playing area approximately 3569 by 1778 mm.

What room size fits a full-size snooker table?
With a 145 cm cue, the playing area alone needs roughly 6.47 by 4.68 metres of clear room. Add more for furniture and comfortable movement.
Why use the playing surface?
The cue must clear obstacles from the cushion edge, so the calculation starts with the playable bed and adds one cue length on every side.
